Transport Signatures of Pseudomagnetic Landau Levels in Strained Graphene Ribbons

In contrast to the investigations of vertical transport in deformed graphene, there have been no reports yet on the observation of pseudomagnetic LLs in lateral transport studies. One can imagine that strained graphene nanorib- bons (GNRs) would be a good candidate for this, since the deformations near the contact regions of clamped ribbons would be reproducibly inhomogeneous.
